Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPD is the participation in ongoing education to improve knowledge/skills and to develop the personal qualities necessary for the execution of professional and technical duties throughout the practitioner’s working life.

  • National Conference runs in conjunction with the AGM (10-14 CPD points)

  • An annual ‘Business Owners’ Conference specifically focusing on Business Planning (6 CPD points)

  • These seminar programmes (tailored according to members and locations particular interests) are popular and well supported within ValGroup.

  • They are free to members as part of their membership.

Key to the ValGroup culture is the assistance and interchange of information between members as they work within a non-competitive territorial spread of member firms.

  • This aspect, coupled with common sense and the friendly atmosphere enjoyed within the group and the referral of work between firms within ValGroup means the organisation can provide a valuable, inexpensive networking advantage.

  • It is notable that ValGroup has successfully operated since 1986 in a most harmonious way, with all members readily adopting a practical attitude to all matters amongst member firms directly. This ‘modus operandi’ enables ValGroup to work very effectively.
